Chi Chun Tang was founded as a private brand rooted in Hong Kong during 1950s. At that time, due to turbulent international situation and the change of political regime in mainland China, a large number of refugees from mainland China poured into Hong Kong, and the residents generally lived in poverty. With more than 30 traditional Chinese herbal medicines recipes passed down from ancestors, herbs were refined into a variety of therapeutic and health care proprietary Chinese medicines, which were provided to new immigrants arriving in Hong Kong at a preferential price. The products were highly praised by users and hence the name “Chi Chun Tang” become well known.

In the beginning of 1996, the second-generation successor, in response to the changing times and market demands, re-operated “Chi Chun Tang”. With the continuous efforts and innovations of the company and seeing the needs of long-term business expansion, he began to plan his own production plant. In 1997, own production plant of Chi Chun Tang was completed, which focus on quality, efficacy, brand and etc. Later on proprietary Chinese medicine reasearch and development, processing, packaging and other businesses were added.

Due to the continuous expansion of the market, in 2002, it operated as a group and established Hung Win Trading (International), deployed a new modern production plant in Hong Kong, to develop Chinese medicine and proprietary Chinese medicine products mainly to meet the continuous market demand for products. All production processes took place in this modern factory until the finished product is released to the market and sold in the market, all of which meet the standards of  proprietary Chinese medicine product. Therefore, the Group’s business can undertake manufacturing, wholesale, retail import and export trade and other aspects, and provide customers with high-quality products and services.
